Road Construction Detour CHANGE - Will Impact All Access to Burt Circle
We received notice from the City of Omaha Public Works that they are wrapping up Phase 3 of the road construction project and are ready to move on to Phase 4 (the final phase).
The Phase 4 work will be at the end of our street where Burt Circle meets 108th. That intersection will be completely blocked as they put in a new roundabout.
To access Burt Circle (the street Grace Life is on), everyone will need to enter from 108th St and Nicholas St. There is a park there and you will turn at the park and follow the park along 107th Ave which will take you to Burt Circle.
For those who come from Dodge St, they will open up 108th Ave to the gas station. Turn left at the gas station (at the new roundabout), then loop around to Mill Valley Road to North Mill Roadm which will take you back to 108th and another roundabout.
This new route will be in effect beginning Thursday, November 9th and will be the only way to access Burt Circle.
The updated timeline for the project indicates completion is expected to be "early summer 2024".
You might want to allow a few extra minutes the first time you come to church after this change.
